Trainers, Trainees, Speakers, Lecturers and Academics

Providing training in Canada? As a rule, Canadian work permits are not required for speaking, training or guest lecture engagements.

Provided their documentation is in order, trainers, speakers and lecturers can make their arrangements at the port of entry. But, if you’re from a country where a visa is required in order to visit Canada, you’ll need to apply for a Canadian visitor’s visa long before your engagement.
