Capelle Kane is committed to serving existing and new clients as they navigate the evolving restrictions on who may or may not travel to and enter Canada during the COVID 19 outbreak. We are working both in the office and remotely and continuing to advise and service businesses, temporary residents, permanent residents and Canadian citizens with their need for Canadian immigration legal advice and services.
We continue to work diligently to help our clients:
- maintain their rights and status
- operate their businesses
- continue planning their human resource and operational needs
Note that Immigration and Refugee Citizenship Canada (IRCC), the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA), Service Canada’s Temporary Foreign Worker Program, the Global Talent Stream Program, the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP), the Ontario Ministry of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade (MEDJCT) and Passport Canada and Global Affairs Canada are operational.
In addition to our regular services, we are currently offering the following COVID-19 related services:
- Advocacy to Airlines and the Canada Border Services Agency
- Advising employers on their specific COVID-19 employer obligations
We continue to remain abreast of the Government of Canada’s legal and policy changes as they evolve during the pandemic.
IRCC has not returned to pre-pandemic processing standards. All lines of business are impacted by processing delays and backlogs. IRCC and CBSA policies and application procedures remain fluid to ensure that departmental services can be delivered.
Please contact us should you need immigration advice and support.
